Wild 7*90

This project started with the purchase of an original MK Kato kit which I found on a German website for modellers, after a 15 year long search. I have always been fond of this model. The kit is very nice, as is the tradition with MK Kato. Sadly, those kits aren't made anymore and if you're lucky to find one, you need to be prepared to pay a lot of money.

As I didn't want to damage the original kit, I made myself a new one. I have all the equipment to do that in house, thanks to my business (which I stopped in 2023). I had the plan scanned and submitted it to outerzone who published it. It can be accessed here.

The Wild 7*90 is the smaller version of the Wild 7 (which is intended for a 120 four stroke engine). Mine is powered with a YS F-91AC four stroke engine with matching Hatori header and exhaust pipe. Retracts are electric by Jetcraft. The model was finished in November 2025 and is awaiting its maiden flight.
